Mac OS Keyboard Shortcut

I am still in newbie in Mac OS things, and i am not really use the real macs :D, still can’t afford buying the real macs. I am not really a shotcut-guy, but sometimes i need to use some shortcut key, when it’s become not efficient if i always use the cursor.

Here the three mac keyboard key and the relevance on Windows Keyboard :

  • ⌘ Command, in Windows Keyboard : Windows Key
  • ⌃ Control , in Windows Keyboard : Ctrl
  • ⌥ Option, in Windows Keyboard : Alt

There some Keyboard Shortcut in Mac OS:

  • Switch to other windows : ⌘ + tab
  • Switch to other windows in the same apps  : ⌘  + ` (located on top of tab key)
  • Force Quit : ⌘  + ⌥ + Esc
  • Hide Application : ⌘ + H
  • Open Mission Control (Lion) : ⌃ + ↑
  • Switch to other desktop (if you’re using multidesktop) : ⌃ + ← or →
  • Closing Windows (not closing App) : ⌘ + W
  • Closing Application : ⌘  + Q
  • Open file or folder : ⌘ + O
  • Rename File : Enter
  • Copy : ⌘ + C
  • Paste : ⌘ + V

At the first time, that shortcut key really make me sick. But, slow but sure, i began to understand it.
